Help center

Publish articles from your knowledge base as a help center customers can browse: the same content as the AI, two levels of categories, the published version only, indexable by search engines.

Set up the help center under Knowledge → Help center (知识库 → 帮助中心); only owners and admins can change it. It uses the same knowledge base as the AI: you keep one set of content, and what customers read in the help center always matches what the AI answers.

Turn it on

  1. Switch on Help center is public.
  2. The address is https://askpurser.com/help/<your-address>; you can change it to something memorable (3–60 lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens). The old address stops working when you change it.
  3. Choose the default language and fill in a title and an intro line (shown above the search box). Without a title it shows "store name · Help center".

When you switch it off, every help center page immediately answers "This page doesn't exist."

Which articles are public

Which articles are public lists the knowledge that can be published: articles you wrote, Q&A and uploaded files. Articles switched on appear in the help center; the rest are for the AI only (internal procedures, notes for the AI).

  • Crawled pages can't be made public: they're already on your own site.
  • Customers see the published version: as with the AI, an edited article shows its new text in the help center after you publish; an article made public but never published is marked "Shows after next publish". A workspace that has never published shows the current content.
  • Public, category, order and "featured" take effect at once, without publishing.
  • The star features an article on the help center home page.
  • Each public article shows its views and "helpful / not helpful" counts.

Categories

Categories go two levels deep: categories (such as "Orders & shipping") and sub-categories under them (such as "International shipping"). The home page shows a card per category, only for categories with public articles.

  • Add common store categories adds six (Orders & shipping, Returns & refunds, Payment & invoices, Products & sizing, Account & membership, Other questions) with Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean names and icons. Ones you already have aren't added again.
  • Categorise with AI puts public articles that have no category into the best-fitting one. Articles the AI isn't sure about stay in "Uncategorised" for you to place.
  • Category names are edited in your console language; Translate names with AI fills in the missing languages.
  • Deleting a category makes its articles uncategorised (the articles stay); delete a category's sub-categories first.

Languages

Each article appears in the help center for its own language (an article without a language is judged by its title's script). The top right lists only languages that have public articles. The page's buttons and messages come in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean; other languages show English.

What customers see

  • Home: a search box, category cards and featured articles.
  • Category pages: the articles in the category and its sub-categories.
  • Article pages: the text, "Was this article helpful?" and related articles from the same category.
  • Search: the same retrieval the AI uses, over public articles only.
  • A "Chat with us" button at the bottom opens your store's chat window (when the workspace has a public key).

Each help center has its own sitemap at https://askpurser.com/help/<your-address>/sitemap.xml, and its pages carry canonical links and language alternates for search engines.

Glossary

Make translation and the AI's replies handle your brand names, industry terms and phrases to avoid your way.

How the AI answers

The AI answers only from your sources, every reply is checked before it is sent, and you decide per question type how far it may go on its own.
